pre-Passover lunch

We had a big Saturday lunch with most of the family. We celebrated Chacha's B-day.

Dori and Nadav had a great time together… after all, they are only three months apart. They checked their height on the studio door, to see who is stronger.

The family band played the guitars (and ukulele) for a while.

Only after everyone left, Dori noticed that he forgot to eat. Of course the thing he wanted the most was the Krepalach that safta Sarah makes (luckily we had some spared from lunch).

You can make it loop by clicking on the PLAY button every time it stops (low-tech is our friend)

We got all fed-up, so we decided to relax for a while

Hi everyone.

This is a short post, to say a few things that should have been said a while ago...

First of all to Sandy and Garry - thanks for the gifts you sent to the kids (the trucks for Dori, and the peekaboo baby for Amit). They are very precious, and we weren't expecting anything, so it was quite a nice surprise. I did try to email you back a while ago, but I guess I misswrote your address or something, because sometime later you posted here that you have no other way to contact me...so... that brings me to my next point which is really THANK YOU for the kind wishes, and good thoughts you sent when my mother was slipping, and when she passed away. We are all still adjusting (I forget she is gone for split seconds, and I find myself thinking that I haven't called her today).

And finally, something lighter...

The picture reads "happy purim for all those who can fly ( bees and super heroes especially), and all the rest.
All the best -dix

Purim... once a year

This year we celebrate in the Achashverosh palace style, so we need to dress up as Muscleman Iranian Arabs.

I guess we can skip the words, and just give you the pictures

All the costumes in this Post were made by Safta Sarah, in a single day, and from old bed-sheets we don't use anymore.

Love
The SuliMan family

That Coral Yarn

I made this scarf with that coral yarn Keren showed you on the Chicago Blog.  It's for Megan--hope it's not too fussy for her.
