Preparing for Dalia

We got home from Chicago at about 8:30 last night. The snow was just starting and the winds were picking up. When we got home this morning, this is what we saw. 8-10 inches of new snow, and more predicted for today and tonight with high winds. Since Dalia was dreaming of snow, we think this is a good thing. It's supposed to stay cold all week, so the odds are good for a white Christmas!

Not so sure the birds appreciate the snow. They're just starting to find the feeders this morning. Grady loves the snow--he's out running through the trees, looking for a good stick.
