Amit did it.

She took her first steps. We haven't cought it on tape yet, but that will surely happen soon.

Now I know why they are called "baby-steps". She only moves about about 2-3 cm (an inch or so) each step...

She also climbes up on Dori's bed, drinks from his night cup, spills a lot on his bed, climbes on the couch, jumps up and down, falls from the couch, and many other wacky things only babies find funny (like pulling my earing, pulling my hair, pulling my glasses, etc...)

She laughs a lot.

Dori is the usual Dori. We have to negotiate everything with him. At what time he eats dinner, how much time he can play Wii, when can we go to Dalia's, what pejamas he has to wear, which soap to use in the bathtub.... its an endless job with him, and he is really getting good at it.

White Christmas?

I took these pictures this morning around 10:00, so unless something really strange happens with the weather, (which is possible, of course) we are going to have a white Christmas here. There is another 8-10 inches of snow expected today, so you guys may have to dig your way in.








Notice that the bird feeders are empty. That's only because I was out there. It's pretty non-stop feeding this week, since it's hard for the birds to find food with this much snow. I've been refilling the feeders every 3 days or so, and the birds just go a little higher in the trees and wait while I take down and fill feeders.
