Location

We are now considering this place for the ceremony and reception:

What we like most about it, is that they give the newly weds a car as a wedding present. Isn't that sweet?

It's really nice Keren, you're gonna love it. I don't think we'll get much golfing in though :)

Erin loves golf in the winter. She would be a good golf tee. Just replace the beer can in the second picture with her. Or maybe she's a good golf ball, and my foot is the golf club.

You can see the contrast between Canadian and American golf courses here. First, there is the American golf course, complete with a gigantic gas-guzzling car.
Then there is the Canadian version. In Keren's link , you can see the white clubhouse to the right...ok...a golf cart next to that...good so far..., and two avid golfers...great!. Now, if you look closely, you can see a flag sticking out of the ice behind the guy guy facing the camera. You can also see one directly behind the golfer. But the golfer is aiming at neither of these...what's going on? Up to that point, it looks pretty normal. Anybody have any ideas what he's aiming at, if he's not trying to hit the the flags, like a normal golfer? I guess I just don't understand Canadian golf...someone help!!

That's one piece of the wedding puzzle in place. Only 2146 to go.

You kids stop fighting.

Just to clear up any confusion that may exist with regard to golfing in Canada. The guy behind me is my caddy. He is carrying a bag full of golf balls (you lose so many because they are white) that are now mostly all at the bottom of the lake. The "flags" are tip ups set in a hole in the ice to catch fish. The caddy is also carrying a fishing rod. We fished and played golf at the same time. How's that for multi-tasking?
