1) Dates
So we thought a lot about when would be the perfect time(s) to have the wedding parties.
Summarizing the constraints,
Ben graduates in the summer (Aug), and (probably) starts the job at Chicago on Jan.
Kevin & Megan get married Sep.30, and we have a couple other weddings that month.
The students (correct me if I'm wrong) have breaks between May and Aug, Christmas and thanks giving.
The best time to visit Israel is spring or fall, when the weather is not blazing hot and it doesn't rain (Americans: in Israel it rains during the WINTER).
Bottom line: what do you all think about Dec/Jan (before/after Christmas) in Michigan, and May (2007) in Israel?

The thing we need to figure out for December is probably availability of places, and catering, if we're going to do that. Mom and Erin, we're wondering who/where we can do all this first. Then, if any of those people and places are available in December, which is obviously going to be busy, since it's near the holidays. Do you guys have any thoughts on this?
December works for the koesters and schneiders. May works for koesters, schneiders can do first week of may (Matt has a break between classes that week), and it should work for Kevin and Megan.
Logistics:
1. Approximately how many people are you anticipating. For example, for Matt and Erin's wedding we invited about 100 people from our side only, but this can definitly be trimmed down, and there are Ben's friends, and Keren's family to count. This will let us know what kind of venue we need to be looking for. If it's possible to keep the total around 100 people, things will be easier to arrange, but if we need to invite more we'll make it work.
2. Are you planning to have the wedding itself at the same location as the reception or separate or what?
3. Potential locations for celebrations: mcguires, caberfae, k of c hall in cadillac, indoors at cherry grove twp hall(small), lakeside charlies round room (small), traverse city, shepherd, etc.....
4. Food and stuff depends on where the reception is. some places you use their food, others you can bring in catering.
