...I don't remember when was the last time he was at home for his birthday. as usual, he's having fun somewhere else, leaving us with no guest of honor in his birthday dinner, that we consequently never have.
i got you a couple of hawaiian t-shirts for your birthday (stam, you would have gotten them anyway. but a birthday is a good excuse!!)

Today is the second time i'm 24!
Yep, that's right.
Us jewish people, and every other person who has two calendars to follow, can celebrate twice a year our B-day.
So today is the 9th of Av, which is the day mentioned as the destruction of the second temple (i think). It is also the day i was born.
9th of Av and the 19th of July were at the same day when i was 19. every 19 years the two calendars sync.
