It's about 10,000 km from Israel to Michigan. It's mostly water, and a little land, but it's nothing we can't bridge with a satellite or some fiber optics! This site is all about keeping the Sharons and Koesters in sync. It should be a good place to talk about...whatever! If you go to Eilat, tell us about it! If you went to Canada last weekend, write a mini-novel about it here.

Good luck Dori!!
We all keep our fingers crossed for Dori's operation tomorrow. Good luck!!
Dori went into surgery at 11:00, about 2 hours later the surgeon came out and said the surgery is over and successful. At the moment Dori is sleeping, and in recovery with his Ima and Abba. When he woke up, he wanted to drink water, and asked "ma assu lecha?", meaning (in Dori's language), "what happened to me?". More later. Hopefully we will get to see him tonight.
Dori is at the Sharons' home now, feeling a lot better. he only had to spend one night at the hospital. it's amazing how fast he recovers! i think that what bothers him most, is that his hands were put in restrainers, so that he can't fold them and reach his mouth... he's happy and playful, and almost doesn't complain. what a hero!!!
Good news! Gary and I have been gone for most of the last two days and I just found these posts this morning. I'm happy that Dori's surgery went well and that he's recovering quickly.
