Are we turning Amish?
After the big visit, our fridge is packed.
So, we declared on a "WEEK WITHOUT SHOPPING".
basically, we have all the seasonings at the garden, the fridge is packed with meat and products, and even frozen break and pita, that we didn't get a chance to eat while you were here.
It was all fine, but then we discovered that we are short of lemons for our Tehina.
so, not being able to buy (because of our declaration), Dalia mentioned that keren wanted to buy a lemon-tree, for her birthday, and we didn't get to it.
So, we bought a lemon tree. it doesn't count as a purchase, because it is a retroactive buy from keren and Ben. so, you owe us 50 NIS :-)
We planted it next to the olive tree, za'atar, mint, oregano, thyme, parcel, Rosemarie, lime, hot-peppers, irit, sage, Melisa, stivia and more.. oh, and flowers and Chinese oranges
So, where do you sign-up as an Amish?

Ron--the Amish don't drink beer. Think about it. No beer. But the garden looks lovely. Mine is still mostly brown.

Ron, you're getting close to being Amish. Only 2 more requirements. First, you must get a horse, and remain smarter than the horse. Second, you must rid the premises of any electrical power and appliances. Then the beer thing will come naturally, because who wants to drink warm beer?
Beautiful garden. Wish I could see it in person.
the garden looks...tasety! (and pretty , too)
